At nxtAcre, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
nxtAcre offers an optional SMS/text-message program that delivers transactional and account-related alerts — such as invoice notifications and payment reminders — on behalf of the farms and agricultural businesses that use our Service. These messages are sent from our toll-free number, (866) 241-3872, so you can recognize them and know they are not spam. We collect and process your mobile phone number and your messaging consent status (including the date, time, and method of opt-in and opt-out) in order to operate this program.
Text messages are only sent after you confirm your enrollment through a two-step (double) opt-in process: either you reply "YES" to a confirmation message after a business adds you as a customer, or you enable SMS notifications in your own account profile and then confirm enrollment. You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any message. For full details about how the messaging program works, see the SMS / Text Message Communications section of our Terms and Conditions.
Mobile information sharing. No mobile information — including your mobile phone number and SMS consent — will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except subcontractors or service providers that help us deliver the messages you have requested (such as our text-messaging provider), and then only to the extent necessary to provide the messaging service, or as required by law.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to:
